How to install

Takes less than a minute. The launcher handles the rest: it downloads the game and keeps everything up to date on its own.

Windows

  1. Download the installer and double-click it.

  2. Windows may show a blue "protected your PC" warning. Click More info, then Run anyway.

  3. Follow the installer. When it finishes, look for Basalra in the Start menu.

The warning appears because the installer does not have a paid code-signing certificate yet. The file is the same one you downloaded here.

Linux

  1. Download the package and extract it:

    tar xzf BasalraLauncher-linux-x86_64.tar.gz

  2. Enter the folder and run the installer:

    cd BasalraLauncher-*-linux-x86_64
./install.sh

  3. Done. Look for Basalra in your applications menu, or run BasalraLauncher in a terminal.

Installs for your user only, under ~/.local - no admin password needed. To remove: ./install.sh --uninstall
